The IUSW have organised a private meeting with MPs in the House of Commons for early February. It is vital that we have a good show of people involved from the industry. The meeting is only for an hour and there are two 20 min presentations. There will then be questions and answers, which hopefully some of you can reply to. It is all in private and will not be advertised and there will be no press.  The meeting is for all involved in this industry, so we are looking for escorts, agency owners, brothel owners, madams, maids, and clients.

This is our chance to show MPs that we are collectively working together and that we are not all dodgy back street businesses ashamed of what we do. If we can get 50 or 70 industry people there it would make a huge impression. If no one turns up then of course the MPs will assume that as an industry we don't give a F@~%k and just once more assume that the IUSW people are not representative. (You do not have to be a member of the IUSW to attend)

People from all over the UK will be attending so it will be a chance to meet others in the industry from other parts of the UK. We do need escorts there as well as agencies, brothel owners, maids and clients. It will be a chance to see inside the H of C (which is spectacular).

The IUSW have £1000, which is a donation from the Tory party. We can use this to cover some train fares but if you can cover your own obviously we would be very grateful.

The Scrutiny committee are also accepting written reports from anyone concerned up to the 10th of Feb. We do not need anything fancy. It is not a case of writing a literary script but a chance to put honestly on paper how you feel the law affects the running of your business and of course how the changes would affect your business. One page is all we need but it is important that we have again as many representations from the industry as soon as possible.  I can help if you want or if you need to ask any questions.  I will be providing more information as to what points should be covered, and where to send them.

Can you please get this message out to the industry so that as many people as possible can respond, attend or both?

For more information, please contact Catherine on 07868 492276,  http://iusw.org

Please post on other sites where applicable.
